For the last two weeks of someone's notice
Hand-off FilesHand over the Drive files of someone leaving.
Paste their file list, their manager and the leaving date. The page finds every file they own, the colleague who works on each folder most, what is stale and what is shared outside. One run plans each folder - transfer, archive, review the sharing first, or give to the manager. Nothing is moved from this page.
1 The files free
Getting the list: a Workspace admin runs gws drive files list (the Google Workspace CLI) for the files they own, with owners, modifiedTime and permissions, and pastes the JSON. Any spreadsheet export with a file name column works too, or one line per file: folder/file | last edited | who it is shared with. Or drop the file here.
2 What there is free
Folders, biggest first
3 The plan metered
One run decides each folder: review the sharing first if anyone outside can open it, archive it with the manager if it is all stale, transfer it to the colleague on most of its files, or give it to the manager.

Check the sharing first
The page's check
Transfer ownership in Drive or the Admin console yourself. A transfer keeps every share, so check the red folders first. Nothing is moved from this page.

How it works
The page reads a Drive files list as JSON (name, path, owners, modifiedTime and permissions), a CSV whose header has a name column (folder, owner, modified and shared-with columns are used when present), or lines split by |. It keeps the files owned by the person leaving - with no address given, the most common owner - and sets the rest aside.
Files are grouped by their first two folder levels. Collaborators on the leaving person's domain are inside; Gmail, Outlook and the like, other domains and anyone-with-the-link shares count as shared outside. The colleague on the most of a folder's files is its receiver; a tie goes alphabetically. A file with no edit in the 365 days before the leaving date (or the latest edit, with no date) is stale.
The rule: review a folder with anything shared outside; archive an all-stale folder with the manager; transfer the rest to the receiver; give a folder nobody else works on to the manager. The plan covers the 20 biggest folders, and the page checks every action and receiver against the rule.
